This is what you'll likely hear the first time you step into our humble tavern. "Welcome" and "Are you new here?" Not only do we welcome any weary traveler who wishes to set down their hat and relax at our bars or baths, but we welcome even the ones still green behind the ears.What better way to learn the art of adventure, business, or ... pleasure, than from the mouth of a veteran who shares your table, or bath.

The Tavern - A haven for RP veterans and beginners alike

As you enter the venue, one thing is clear, this is a tavern where you can sit down, have a chat at the bar or play a round of cards upstairs.Every staff member has their own story, their own way of thinking, their own way of doing things.If you don't know where to go, and our greeter missed you, or it is late and our greeters are relaxing already, find Don Leo, Myotis Starcaller or anyone else with a staff tag (looking to meld). They will show you the way and answer any questions you may have.

The BathHouse - A place to relax without bounds

While the upstairs is a regular SFW RP experience, the downstairs is still... an RP experience.We ask patrons to wear proper bathhouse attire, meaning swimwear, light casual clothing, bathrobes, or,... well,... nothing.According to the owner, Myotis Starcaller, MogHeart has always been a place where patrons come to make connections, meet new people, socialise, and maybe more. Over the years, many friendships were started and built within these walls. It is an effort we wish to continue.

The Garden

In recent months we have begun to make use of the beautiful garden that fronts the venue. It is now where we start every event.A DJ will grace the platform overlooking the brick stone dancefloor while the Froge makes his preparations for the night to come.

The Music

Speaking of DJ's, MogHeart has always been a place where Music plays a central role. From the days of just the orchestrions, onwards to the playlists and up to and including the various DJ's, one of which is our very own Myotis Starcaller, we have been and always will be a place of musical entertainment.With a focus on danceable or chill music, our offering strives to give you something to groove to, to chill to, to feel like you are truly able to relax and leave your worries at the door.

Your guide

The bar is a place where you'll almost always find a staff member. If you have any question whatsoever, the bar is where you can ask this question.

Your friends

The bar is the prime place for you to have RP interactions. Some bartenders are more experienced than others, be it as their RP bartending persona or as a RolePlayer. Our residents will try to provide you with a story with plenty of RP hooks for you to interact with.

Your support

The bar is the primary place where you can support the venue. If you enjoy the venue, support our bartenders, give them a generous tip. (Tips sometimes go into the millions but small ones still go a long way.)

What about the menu?

There is no menu!MogHeart has done away with the menu. Our bartenders complained that it was hampering their creativity. They wanted to make amazing cocktails, dubious brews and crazy specials.Yes, you can have the regular beers, coffees and sodas, but if you have a favourite drink, our bartenders will probably be able to make it for you.Don Leo, our event manager keeps a large stock of all the liquors, wines, and even sparkling waters that somehow heal your wounds.Want a tip? But how much does it cost?

MogHeart's bar has always been entirely tip-based.As mentioned before, sometimes patrons tip millions, such as high-rollers who just got a big win at the gamba table, crafters and submariners flexing their wallets, or just people who love the experience.Sometimes patrons tip very little. It is the way the world turns. If you can't afford much, don't worry about it. Our staff is here for the roleplay, the experience, and the fun. We wouldn't hire them otherwise.And if you're strapped for cash... well, we do have a jobs page up there!

Gamba and games at the Tavern

Regular gamba every event

MogHeart hosts a gamba table every event. While regulars may remember the gamba starting at 19/20ST (summer/winter), we sometimes have earlier gamba in the garden at 18/19ST.

BlackJack,... and other BlackJack

Our primary game is Blackjack, while we do occasionally offer other minigames, the gamba table upstairs in the tavern primarily hosts Blackjack.It is a game of skill with plenty of risk to keep it interesting. Do you feel lucky?Besides that blackjack, our staff down in the bathhouse may play other minigames. Give them a poke and they may host anything from Truth or Dare to Naughty Blackjack or Spin the Bottle!

BlackJack rules

  • Ruleset: Soft 17

  • Maximum bet: 500k or 1mil. It depends on the dealer at the time. On request, a dealer my ask Don Leo for different maximums.

  • Minimum bet: 10k but again, it depends. Players may play 0 gil to get a feel for the game and to learn the basics.

  • In-game gil only. Fake money. Play money. NO REAL MONEY.

How to play?

The goal is to get as close to 21 as possible but sometimes you can win with just a 4. Read on...

  • First, the buy-in. You bet however much you want so long as you don't go over the set maximum.

  • FACE CARDS: Jack, Queen and King count as 10 points, all the other cards count as their number except for ace which has a value of 1 or 11 depending on the other cards you get.

  • DEALING: The players each get 2 cards, the dealer gets one.

  • YOUR HAND: These are the cards that you get. Everyone starts off with 2 cards and can choose to hit or stand unless you get a NATURAL BLACKJACK.

  • NATURAL BLACKJACK: If your first 2 cards add up to 21, you get a NATURAL BLACKJACK and you get double your bet back + a bonus, unless the dealer also gets a Blackjack, then you draw and get your bet back.

  • HIT: Get another card - Let's say you got a 6 and a 2, you have 8 in total, you may ask for a hit, which means you get another card. Let's say it's a Jack of Spades, this counts as 10. You now have 18. 18 is close to 21 and generally, a player will stand on this. Only daredevils would hit again.

  • STAND: End your turn. - This means you don't want any more cards and will keep the ones you have. Your round is done now and you can await the results.

  • DOUBLE: Do you think you can get lucky and get a good card? You can double your bet. Simply say "double", pay your bet a second time and you get a card. You cannot hit again after this. If you had the 8 from before and you doubled, maybe you got an ace which means you now have 19 points. If the dealer stands at 17 or busts, you'll win double your bet, meaning if you bet 1 million, then another mil for the double, you'll get paid back 4 million!

  • SPLIT: When you get two cards that are identical in number, for example a 4 and a 4, you can choose to "split", this means you will turn one hand into two hands and the dealer will let you play both. You do have to pay another bet though, just like in the Double Down.

  • BUST: If you go over 21, you bust and lose your bet.

  • Dealer hits: Once all players have their cards, the dealer will reveal their own cards. The dealer will hit until they reach 17 or higher and then stand. They'll always stand on 17. This means getting an 18 for yourself may already be a good strategy.

  • DRAW: If both you and the dealer have the same score, you draw and get your bet back.

  • WIN: If the dealer busts or has a score lower than yours, you get double your bet as winnings.

  • WHAT IS A PUSH? You'll often hear players say the word "push". This can mean a variety of things. If a player draws with the dealer, then having the dealer give them back their money is silly if they want to play again in the next round. So push generally means that they don't want the dealer to pay out their winnings and instead use the money for the next round. For example, if someone wins 2 million, and max bet is 1 million, the dealer may pay back 1 million and keep the other million for the next round.

How do I get the SyncShell Key?

Ask one of our ShellGuards:

  • They will be listed in the Discord the Mare channel.

  • If none are available, ask management (frogs, anyone named Don or Donna) for assistance, they'll help you find a ShellGuard.

They will ask you questions. This is to prevent bad installs from entering our shell.
If you have been checked in the past by us or another ShellGated venue, please mention this.

The Small Print - More Info

At MogHeart we use ShellGate. ShellGate has led to a reduction in crashes and lag and overall more stability in venues with large numbers of Mare users. More info on this is available at: https://shellgate.carrd.co/We do not make the shell info publicly available. To join our shell please ensure you have the following:

  • IVCS and possibly NoffleBones properly installed. (We can help with that)

  • Your memory load in mare does not exceed 1GB. If your load is above 800, our ShellGuards will assist you in fixing that. Normal loads are between 0MB and 600MB. (We can help with that. More info at: https://shellgate.carrd.co/#loadsizes)

  • If you use multiple bodies or races or genders in the same Penumbra collection, let us know immediately.

Keep in mind that due to the popularity of our shell, in part due to the higher stability, we have a LOT of people in the shell with up to 80 mares at one time.

Etiquette and Rules

We require you adhere to common Mare Etiquette, more info at https://shellgate.carrd.co/#etiquette Some examples include:

No CS Exploitation Mods (No pedo stuff)

  • No underage characters.

  • No naked Lala's. Lala's may be blocked from joining the shell. Lala's can't enter the shell anymore.

  • No natural or glamoured Lala's. They're too childlike. (added 2024-03-23)

  • Please do not try to find where the limit is. The venue owner does not mess around. See below for more info. (*)

Mod Content (No Immersion-Breaking)

  • No music on your dances. The venue owner has made careful considerations for the background music in-game and the DJ or bard performances we commissioned. We can help with editing your mod if it doesn't give an option to turn it off.

  • No flashbangs.

  • No earthquakes.

  • No long-lasting permanent effects like Minecraft torches.

  • No Gore or Horror mods.

  • No common phobia mods like spiders, holes, etc. Spider designs on tattoos or clothes are fine.

  • Spoopy mods are ok.

General Etiquette (Be nice and considerate of others)

  • Don't switch outfits rapidly while inside, please leave the venue and switch and experiment outside.

  • Don't use multi-bodies: Do not use TBSE-X and Bibo on the same collection. It causes lags and crashes, including for yourself. Ask Don Leo for assistance.

  • Don't try out new mods inside. Try them at an inn or other place.

  • Don't use Big Mods, for example: Armored Raven is a pretty outfit but forces everyone in the venue to dedicate over 2 GB of ram to you. We can help optimize these down to 33% of their original size.

  • Do not teleport out from within the venue. (Custom teleports may have large effects. If you teleport and we don't see it we may assume you've crashed and may try to investigate. If we see you exit through the door we'll know you didn't crash.)

  • Do not have weapons out. (Staff only, usually security)

  • Do not have minions out. (Prevents issues with mare, congestion, memory load, gpose, etc. Some exceptions exist.)

  • Try not to run through the venue. Use RP-walk, especially when there are many people inside.

  • If you notice broken fingers on someone, let us know so we can help them.

  • Let us know of any potential bad installs. Example: Our gamba host would lag then crash because someone had TBSE-X with Bibo underneath. Completely cleansing their collections has stopped these crashes. We don't ban bad installs, we help you fix them.

This list is limited to Mare-related issues. Other issues include: don't go into staff areas, don't go into obvious private areas, etc. See the general MogHeart rules regarding this.

ADDENDUM. (*) Regarding underage characters and characters that look underage:

  • You will be removed from the shell without prior notice. We will contact you AFTER you have been removed. This may take a while: minutes, hours, possibly even days depending on circumstances.

  • You will likely be banned from the shell.

  • We report any CS exploitation or anything that even remotely looks like it to Mare itself. We will fully cooperate with law enforcement and SE if they request any information on a visitor of MogHeart that is in any way shape or form involved in CS exploitation.

  • If you are unsure if your demonic Lala cherub with exposed genitalia or your flat-chested 18 year-old character who stayed small due to malnutrition is allowed in the Shell, contact Myotis Starcaller. They'll probably say no.

  • Do not try to find the limit.

We request that any patron who spots this immediately contact venue management with:

  • NAME of the person,

  • SERVER that person is in,

  • and their approximate LOCATION inside the venue.

  • Also, include the SYNCSHELL in which you're paired with them.

Without this information, we cannot do anything. If they are not in the MogHeart SyncShell we will contact whoever runs the shell they're in. We cannot do anything about personal pairings. You'll have to pause or remove them yourself.Let us know live in-game. If for some reason you cannot find a manager, possibly because it is 4AM, click the contact page above and then click "Report Something".

Example of a proper report:

"Hey, there is a naked lala named Joeh Mamah-doughboyefromhell from Twintania in the fountain downstairs. They're not in Mog shell but I'm paired with them through TheCoolVenue."

Changes

2024-03-23 - Lalas can no longer enter the shell.

In the past when most of mare was mostly outfits, we allowed anyone to enter the shell. We did not have ShellGate and most custom animations were the same 5 dances by Raykie. The scene has changed, evolved if you will... and lala mods and weird stuff have emerged.For a while we banned all lalas from entering. We did this because of a double lala situation that was testing the limits of some of the above rules. Again, do not try to find the limit.Then, for a while, our event manager allowed some exceptions. These were mostly accidental and were accompanied with a serious talk about the issues with lalas in venues and mare. There have not been any reported issues.There have, however, been a lot of reports. Yet these reports were not about issues. These reports were mainly about the existence of lalas. Some patrons do not like having lalas in the shell or having them around at all.Many lalas tend to be lurkers. They are new to venues, are considering using a fanta and want to check the scene out first. We've seen many lalas fanta to something else because they have seen the possibilities. This is no longer possible so we suggest those players to make a temporary alt and contact management before an event, preferably a day before, so we can help them teleport to the venue.So with this said, given the emergence of bad mods, the uncomfortable feelings caused by the presence of lalas in some venues and the fact that management gets too many reports about the existence of lalas, we have decided to formally disallow lalas from entering the shell.

Jobs

2024-10-03: Currently hiring bartenders to stack the bar! Also greeters!

It should be noted that MogHeart is more of an old-school venue when it comes to RP and payment. Except for the hard labor jobs like shout running, Mogheart salaries are lower than in other venues. If you expect to make a large amount of money by doing a job for a few nights and then disappear when you've made your cash, we suggest you look for venues that pay millions with gil they get in questionable ways.Our staff primarily do these jobs because they enjoy doing them.

MogHeart has a wide variety of staff positions. Being a Tavern and Bathhouse, our focus naturally lies in hosting and entertainment which means we are usually looking for bartenders, greeters, musical entertainment, and the like.On the right is a non-exhaustive list of positions we may be looking for at any time.

Which positions are there?

Bar and Tavern service: Bartenders and Maids

Bartenders make drinks. Depending on the RP experience of the bartender, they may be an advanced mixologist who mixes up complex cocktails or they may be an inexperienced beer tapper.Bartenders will do RP drink creations and will RP engage with customers at the bar itself. Bartenders at MogHeart may also be requested to do RP matchmaking. This means they'll be asked if they know anyone who would make a good RP partner. Dealing with these requests comes with experience. New staff should refer these patrons to our older staff members.This makes bartenders a vital part of the venue staff. MogHeart understands that bartending is an RP-heavy job and tries to fill other roles with dedicated staff but bartenders with experience may be asked to temporarily fulfill other jobs like greeting or small security issues.

Maids don't tend to make the more complex drinks but will do table service and make sure the patrons are happy. Maids will be moving around much more than the bartenders. They generally listen to the bartenders for where to go and who to focus on but independent maids are welcome too.Both maids and bartenders preferably have a solid backstory from which they pull their RP interactions.Bar staff pay is different at Mogheart. It is not like most other venues. It is more like classic RP venues. Enquire with staff management for more information.

Greeters

Greeters ... well, they greet. Unlike other venues, greeters at MogHeart are not expected to greet everyone who enters.Greeting at Mogheart requires a slightly more involved attitude. Yes, we have greeting macros but we don't let greeters semi-afk at the entrance. That's just not fun for the greeters.Greeting, like bartending, preferably involves having a solid backstory for your character.

Gamba Hosts

We have a few gamba games. They do NOT involve real money. Only gil and possibly other in-game items. Gamba hosts or dealers come in many varieties but our focus is Blackjack first, other games second.The pay scheme for MogHeart differs once again from what appears to be the general scheme used in most other venues. We have a very negotiable pay scheme and every host has a different contract. We have never paid an hourly salary but this is negotiable as well.We also have NSFW gamba games downstairs for those who prefer to host games that aren't focused around the thrill of winning gil. For this we look for NSFW gamba hosts or NSFW minigame hosts.We offer Gamba host training through Don Leo. This involves a bit more than just playing the cards.

Assistant Manager

The assistant manager assists Don Leo with management issues. This is a catch-all positions that is capable of doing -everything-. Gamba host, bartending, security, staff management, etc.

Dancers

Dancers at MogHeart are SFW dancers who dance near the DJ to provide a visual show for the patrons. Dancers do not engage in any NSFW activity while they are on shift.We do not have an in-house dance routine.

Courtesans

MogHeart is a Tavern and bathhouse. We do not have courtesans. If you offer a courtesan-like service, we may still have a position for you but it won't be the classic courtesan job.Freelance courtesans MAY be allowed to "work" the area but MUST inform management and MUST receive permission beforehand.Freelance courtesans may be contacted by management for one-off situations where we need something special for an event so still feel free to fill in the form and inform us of your services.

Town Shouters

Town shouters shout the ad for the venue in every town.If you want to do this but have never done it before, beware that you'll be blacklisted and void-listed by many players.If you do this professionally, let us know immediately!See also the venuead site

Security

Mogheart traditionally doesn't use security but we will still hire you for the job should you offer to do it.MogHeart Security officers keep an eye out for troublemakers, inform patrons of their weapons, minions, and outfits, and will remind patrons of mare etiquette should they do something that is frowned upon.

Photographers and GPosers

Photographers come in many forms. Regular Photographers are people who love making photos. They'll find a great background, pose characters, set all the lighting and take the shot, then share it. Their goal is to make a beautiful picture. We look for those quite often.Venue photographers are like regular photographers but they're fast, very fast. Venue photographers will have their poses preset and can churn out a large amount of photos while the event is running. The quality may not be as high as a carefully posed shot but it is still sought after as their goal is to capture the atmosphere of the event and provide patrons with memories of it. Mogheart doesn't always have a venue photographer. We mostly hire them for special events.And then lastly, the GPosers. They are focused primarily on creating photos used in Graphics Design. Their goal is to capture shots of beautiful models for use in posters and other media. MogHeart puts out a poster for every single event it does and as such, GPosers are hired quite often. GPosers may be asked to make the entire poster.

Graphics Designers for Posters

MogHeart has a poster for every event it does. This averages to around one poster per week. Myotis Starcaller would make them but with the growth of the venue and the workload, it has become something we hire staff for.We already have a few people for this but we're always looking for more as we don't want to burden our staff too much. A poster can be made in an hour or it can take a whole day. It depends on the skill, experience and demands put on the designer.If you love making posters and have a knack for potentially also making the gposes as well, join us as a Postermaker!

This report form is meant as a way to make an anonymous report.We created this because reports in-game and on Discord undeniably have a name attached to them and victims of negative or downright evil behaviour may feel hesitant to report it directly in chat.It doesn't have to be used for only negative events. It can be used for anything you might want to report to us.

Intended scope:

  • Someone is bothering me or my friend

  • Someone is doing illegal things.

  • Someone is breaking the rules and you didn't see it.

  • You should watch out about this.

  • etc.

Do not hesitate to report something here. Even if you think it is minor, even if you think it may not be worth bothering about. Even if you don't want someone to get in trouble.In the past, some reports have led to simple adjustments. They have led to someone being informed that their behaviour is weird and they've adjusted themselves. Some have led to permanent bans as the few reports we got led us to pay attention to someone who was doing horrible things that were entirely unrelated to the report.Do note that we don't have much power in-game. We can assist you in writing reports to SE but we can't -really- ban a person. The game doesn't allow us to do this. 2024-05-04: We've put the raffle on hold for now. We'll bring it back once a month or so.We'll announce it on the usual channels when it comes back!

Welcome to the raffle! With this raffle, MogHeart hopes to generate some working funds to keep our operations running. We don't RMT or do similar stuff but we still have expenses. With the raffle, we might be able to cover those and guarantee there will be at least one lucky winner who walks away with a nice prize.Since the second raffle we changed a few things. You still don't need to be in the venue but now instead of 1 winner we'll have 3!This week we have a boosted pot thanks to a generous winner last time who paid forward their winnings to this week!And now, onto the small print:

MogHeart Halloween Glam Contest

Yep, it's that time of the year again and we're doing another Glamour Contest.This one will have a bit of a different spin on it because we're adding a new special requirement regarding VRAM load and triangle count to bring awareness to the issue. More on that later.

This page may receive some small changes regarding rewards and layout. Rewards may only increase, not decrease. We may receive donations to boost our rewards.These glamour contests will be the precursor of RP fashion events. in the future.

Regular Category

The vanilla category will have one winner who will be judged based on Spookiness, Classiness, Silliness and a fourth ??? category.We're not splitting this one up into multiple winners because... well... Casper and Kai are the only ones who show up for this category and they win every time because we always had 3 winners for this. I say we let them fight for it behind the house or something.

Requirements

1. HALLOWEEN THEME - Outfits must have some Halloween theme to them. Silly category allows for a bit of leeway.2. WATCH WITH NSFW - Any exposed naughty parts will be covered by a giant froge head!3. MAGIC CATEGORY BUDGETS - The maximum VRAM load for these outfits is 550MB and the maximum triangle count is 250K. These are the default autopause limits. Anyone breaking these limits will be disqualified. To get help in meeting these limits, visit the magic-workshop channel.

Additional rules and regulations:

  • Minions are allowed as part of the outfit. We cannot verify their triangle count due to a limitation in Mare. GPoses with minions must be made outside as minions are generally never optimised and may have millions of triangles.

How to take part?

Show up for our event on Halloween, Thursday, October 31st, 2024. Talk to any staff member and they will direct you to our Photographers.Pick any pose from any animation and do it. GPosers won't make custom poses. They may make minor adjustments though.The Photographer will make a chromakeyed gpose. The background will be removed. Only your character will be shown.While these will be posted on Discord, "voting" on them with reactions will have no effect on the outcome. They have to be posted there so that judges who don't play the game may judge the outfits.You cannot pick a category, all glams will be judged based on all categories.Want to join the contest beforehand? Contact Don Leo on Discord to meet up and have your photo taken already.Posing will end on 22ST. We may allow a bit of bleed-through into 22ST.Winners will be announced on the spooky hour of 23ST, (midnight for most of EU).Claim your winnings with Don Leo throughout the following week, up to and including the next event.

19ST - 20ST: Outside "preparty but don't call it that"

This is the outside part of the event. Myo is experimenting with opening hours. 18ST is far too early and I, Don Leo, can't find staff for those hours.We have a DJ on the bridge, gamba at the desk and little to no bartender service. Greeters will stand at the entrance but since it is outside it is quite chaotic.

20ST - 22/23ST: Tavern focus

In the tavern: Bartenders, gamba, RP, DJ.Bathhouse: Bath hosts but no bar service until at least 22ST. DO NOT PULL PEOPLE DOWNSTAIRS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - LOOKING AT YOU MYO

Most people will have gone down, RPers may be hiding in a quiet spot in the tavern, bartenders will be downstairs with only manager bartenders upstairs. Raffle guide

Whoever manages the raffle will need to add tickets to the bot. This is done like this:

  1. Go to the raffle channel.

  2. If Myo hasn't given you permission, then go yell at Myo and repeat that you need permission about 4-5 times until Myo gives you permission.

  3. type /add

  4. Press ENTER.

  5. Use backspace to remove the "name" field.

  6. Click on USER.

  7. Type the Discord name of the person who bought the ticket. For example @Don Leo

  8. Add the number of tickets bought.

  9. Press ENTER to ensure the amount of tickets are fixed in memory.

  10. Press TAB.

  11. Add the "NAME" field again.

  12. In the "NAME" field type MogRaffle.

  13. Press ENTER again.

How to deal with issues

Small issues

Small issues include weapons out, minions visible, armour in bathhouse and stuff like that. Everyone on staff may mention to the person that they forgot this. If they don't respond, refer to security and if no security, refer to Don Leo. It is best to notify security so you can stick to your own duties.

Trolls and everything else

These are handled by Security and management.
Do not engage with them. Leave them alone. The more you engage with them, the more they will troll. We literally cannot do anything. Only the house owner can report them to Square Enix so there is nothing you can do.
Let Don Leo know and if it is a serious issue, use the contact page to make report so we have something like a document to refer to in the future.If patrons interact with trolls, it makes it harder for us to do something about them so use this macro to get the patron to ignore the troll:

No Kick streamers or links to Kick streamers

Kick primarily hosts "outlaw" streamers

Major Kick streamers had to leave their country of origin because the laws in their country would put them in prison for what they do on Kick.If a person streams on Kick that means they've likely been banned from Twitch or other streaming sites. People who stream on Kick after being banned from Twitch were probably kicked for a reason that probably doesn't follow MogHeart's views anyway.

Kick promotes Gambling to children

Kick is a streaming site run by a gambling company called Stake. Kick streamers are often being paid to promote gambling to children.The regular goal for Kick streamers is to get a contract with Stake so they can promote gambling to their audience. The streamer is paid large sums of money for this.If a Kick streamer streams for MogHeart, then MogHeart could be held liable for promoting and facilitating gambling to children even if that streamer doesn't do it themselves.We simply will never allow links to sites that deliberately try to harm our audience.Even though our audience does not contain children, we still wish to protect our adult audience from gambling addiction.MogHeart will NOT facilitate the creation of more gambling addicts.We have staff members whose real-life job involves assisting those who have been caught by gambling addiction and are trying to fix their lives.According to them: "There is no way in fucking hell I'm going to let ANYONE who works with MogHeart promote Kick in any way shape or form."

Kick FF14 Steamers regularly show mods on stream

All it takes is for a streamer to forget to turn off names and the mod-haters will report all those people with proof.

No linking to Kick streamers

If you link to a kick streamer anywhere on your stream you'll be banned from performing for MogHeart for life.We understand that DJ's are being pressured to join DJ-teams. If you join a DJ-team and have to promote teammates who are on Kick, you get banned and your entire team gets banned as well.We do not fuck around.

Location

MogHeart currently has a small dedicated DJ-booth. This will change with the item slot limit increase in the 7.0 expansion. It will be bigger.

  • DJ with a posse: ⛔Do NOT stand behind bar. Too many people behind the bar disrupts bar operations.

  • ⛔Do NOT stream from the basement/bathhouse. This disrupts operations.

Camera

  • Static camera only. No plugins or mods visible on camera.

  • Hide the chat window. A previous incident has gotten a person banned. Twitch will ban you if someone else says a bad word in the in-game chat. This has nothing to do with privacy.

  • ⛔Do NOT use the traveling cam that jumps from person to person unless you control it manually to focus a specific person who consents (usually the Froge). Traveling cam may expose some patrons.

  • To receive an exception for /icam usage, contact Myotis Starcaller directly.

No mods

Don't use mods on stream. No fly cam, no penumbra, no anything.You must launch the game in vanilla.This isn't our rule, it's Square Enix' rule and you'll be banned by SE and possibly by Twitch as well.

Added 2024-02-24: It appears we need to put extra emphasis on this: YOU MUST LAUNCH YOUR GAME IN VANILLA.Turning off Mare and Penumbra is not enough. A streamer used Cammy on-stream. This resulted in a spike in messages directed at management.Not only does this cause you to potentially be banned by Square Enix, it causes MogHeart Management to have to respond to reports of you using it.Mod-haters may be casually watching and will immediately report you to SE.Dalamud Devs themselves have warned about this time and time again, do not stream with Dalamud active.To prove you've read this mention pancakes somewhere in the contact form or in-game with management.

Genres

MogHeart has its own style, vibe, atmosphere. We know our audience very well.For example, if you come in and do untz untz DnB, hard techno or similar, your views will drop. If you do what MogHeart is known for, your views will go up. Seriously, communicate with and listen to us. We've been here for a while now. We know things.We generally do not do aggressive, overly dark, hardstyle, hard dance, dark electro, etc. Coordinate with management on this.Please stick to the genre we requested. If you don't stick to the genre we will notify your DJ management team and may likely never book you again.

  • Early slots: Happy, fun, danceable, party music such as disco, decades (80's, 90's, 00's), early decades (60's, 70's), etc. People are here to party!

  • Late slots: Fewer vocals, easy listening. People are here to chill!

Don't use the examples above to decide the genre. Let our DJ-booker inform you. If nobody tells you anything, let Don Leo know and default to 80's, 90's, 00's or popular EDM.

Set Length

Set length depends on the timeslots and what our DJ bookers have planned. Sets can be 60, 90, 120, or more minutes. Last DJ is open ended and can go on however long they want.

Set Slots

  • Early Outdoor DJ Slots: we keep the doors closed until it is time to go outside. The party will be a garden party with limited staff service so we can manage other stuff and shells. Generally, there will not be a bar service outside yet.

  • Indoor DJ slots: At 20ST (19ST in summer) Doors are open and both the ground- and basement floors will be open for patrons. Patrons primarily go downstairs. Dancing patrons will generally stay upstairs. Bar and gamba are upstairs. In 7.0 this area will be expanded to host a larger DJ area.

  • Indoor late DJ slots: Upstairs will likely be empty. This can't be reliably predicted. Ask for /icam permission if you have a problem with this.

Advertising

If we are in a collab, DJs may advertise their own venues or events on their stream. We don't advertise DJ venues in-game anymore to limit yellow chat spam.Ask management about it if you have any questions. We're pretty chill about advertising in stream, not so much about ads in-game.

Shouting

MogHeart staff will shout and announce the DJs in-game. We shout depending on the amount of new visitors that have entered. We may do whisper-shouts to visitors who entered shortly after yellow shouts were posted. Coordinate with management.IMPORTANT - If you have a custom shout you want us to use, let us know beforehand.If you bring your own shouters, let us know beforehand and coordinate with management. Shout and yell chat are reserved for MogHeart staff. If we don't know the shouter because you didn't tell us, our security may step in and it'll cause an albeit small disruption of operations, but a disruption nonetheless.

Discord /everyone shouts

We generally do not do an /e shout after Midnight CET Brussels Paris Berlin time.If you want one let Myotis Starcaller know.

Partyfinder

MogHeart keeps a partyfinder up for as long as a DJ is active.MogHeart generally does not do custom partyfinders with DJ info.If PF is down, yell at Don Leo.

MogHeart does not require all security to keep their "looking to meld" tag up. Check your contract. If you don't have a contract, contact Don Leo immediately. If nothing is mentioned, put up a tag.

Quick administrative, optional and other information

  • Please join the staff CWLS chat.

  • You may be in our MogHeart Voice Chat during event operations but this is not required. Just be able to communicate. Remember that Discord messages may be overlooked.

  • Please put up a party finder for the venue. Management will have this, bartenders will have this but during times of instability an additional is PF is welcomed.

  • Please have a title set in Honorific such as "MogHeart Security"

  • Please turn on the "looking to meld" icon to indicate staff. MogHeart may use the green LFP icon for other things.

  • Please have a direct mare sync with management.

  • If you are not pinned in the MogHeart syncshell as a resident staff member then please mention this to Don Leo or Myo. We will pin you so you don't get wiped during next wipe.

  • During patrols, having a police glam. Don does this. But he's weird. You are free to do whatever. Is funny though.

  • You may have weapon out to indicate you are security. Keep in mind to not use overly elaborate weapons that may cause a slowdown for others. Mind your mare load.

1. Responding to issues

1.1. MogHeart general approach

The response of security should always start with the assumption that the person forgot, is getting a bit carried away, or is going through "something".Only after it becomes clear that the behaviour of the person is intended to harm or troll, should security personnel move toward more strict measures.Try to figure out what is going on, then try to move the situation towards a positive resolution. If that is not possible, inform management and move towards grey rock.Below is a common example:

  • "Hey, I see you're crafting in the middle of our house, please don't craft in here."

  • "Oh I'm sorry I was just making a food to give to my date."

  • "Alright no worries!"

A lot of times people simply forget or don't know. 9 out of 10 situations are like this.Sometimes you can't do much like in the example below:

  • "I've received reports that you're bothering people, what is going on?"

  • "I'm not bothering anyone."

  • "You were dancing with your crotch in a bather's face without their consent?"

  • "I was there first, they just sat down on me."

  • "So they are bothering you?"

  • "yes!"

At this point in the situation, I just stayed around the area and told the patrons to grey rock and move somewhere else. The dude was just dancing by himself in an awkward spot for a while and then left.

1.2. Grey Rock method

"The grey rock method is where you deliberately act unresponsive or unengaged so that an abusive person will lose interest in you." - https://psychcentral.com/health/grey-rock-methodIt is rooted in the psychological concept of Extinction. "Extinction means that when a behavior doesn’t have the desired effect, the behavior stops. In the case of grey rock, when a person uses abusive behavior but doesn’t get the response they want, they may stop the abusive behavior."It is important to note that we must extend the usage of Grey Rock to the bothered patrons themselves. If a patron keeps responding to the troll, the situation will not de-escalate.We use it for two main reasons: It works and we can't do anything else. Square Enix does not provide us with options to moderate venues.

1.3. Other sanctions

What we can do:

  • Grey rock method

  • Mute, kick, ban from Discord

  • Kick, or ban from SyncShell

  • Kick, mute, ban from some Twitch channels

  • Report their behaviour to mare Devs in case of Mare breach (naked lalas)

  • Report their behaviour to Square Enix

These sanctions require informing venue management. The last sanction, reporting to Square Enix deserves its own section.

1.4. Cancellations

MogHeart will not try to get individuals banned from other venues and MogHeart will not ban individuals who have been banned at other venues unless we are given full proof in context.So far the only proof other venues have given us are out-of-context chatlogs that do not allow us to build an accurate view of the situation. We will orange-list these individuals instead and ban them on first infraction.The age range of individuals visiting these venues is quite wide. Young brain development doesn't stop until the age of 28 so if a 22-year-old fucks up, they still have 6 years of rapid maturation before them until their personality is mostly "done" developing. We don't hold people accountable for the cringy shit they did in the past. It depends on the severity though.

1.5. Reporting to SE

Only the house owner can report to get someone out of their house. Only the person being bothered can report the botherer to SE.If we try to report anything to SE, they say it is a "Third Party" report, they'll thank you for your concern and then they'll close the issue.This means that if the issue is a heavy one, such as stalking, inform management and together we will try to convince the patron to report the person and become grey rock.If the botherer keeps harassing this person and they remain grey rock, it makes it easier for SE to ban them as there is no back and forth, it'll be entirely one-sided.

2. Security loop and workflow: Deal - Patrol - Assist

2.1. Primary security: Deal with troublemakers and forgetful people

Use the Report form on the contact page to document a situation CLICK HERE

  • Doomers, shamers, doxxers and similar. For example, the shaming campaign done by a redditor during October 2023 that has evolved into a subreddit.

  • Illegal (mare) glams. (naked Lalas, NSFL horror glams, flashbang animations and similar, full suits of armor)

  • Weapons visible. (exceptions for whips, dildos and similar)

  • Minions out. (exceptions for sex-toy related minions but only if the venue is currently not highly populated, meaning some baths are empty, say chat isn't rolling fast, etc.)

  • Crafting. This is allowed in two locations only: Outside out of range of the party and inside behind the bar with permission of management as it may have an RP element of someone actually making a thing behind the bar. Nowhere else. (Added 2024-02-27)

  • Trolling and drama, non-RP fights among people.

  • Keeping an eye on known red-listed people. We cannot ban anyone. Reporting to SE only works for the person who is being harassed, we cannot report harassment happening to others, it is discarded by SE. All we can do is support the individuals being bothered and request they send in a report themselves.

We use colours to indicate what a person is. There is no consensus about what the colours mean. We won't set a rule for it. The reason we use the colours is because "Orange-listed" and "Red-listed" are naturally accepted by all venue owners and managers without any further explanation.

  • Green-listed: This is never used but means the person has no history of bad behaviour.

  • Orange-listed: The person is not banned but we keep an eye on them. See below.

  • Red-listed: Banned at MogHeart OR another venue. Sometimes used to indicate an orange-listed person. Often used to indicate a known troll.

When a person is Orange-Listed: This person has a history of bad or alleged bad behaviour. What sometimes happens is that at another venue someone is banned for something but they don't do it in our place. If we don't have any proof of what happened at the other place or the proof is questionable, it makes no sense to ban them here as well. We do keep an eye on them. This in itself is unfair for alleged behaviour and is close to profiling which has a lot of criticism in the world. For alleged cases, we'll keep them orange-listed but we won't confront them. For cases of confirmed bad behaviour in MogHeart, we will keep them orange-listed if they are given another chance.

2.2. Secondary security: patrolling and security theatre

When the above issues are dealt with, security will make themselves visible to maintain a feeling of safety and presence but without threat. At MogHeart, the bathhouse culture is such that individuals may find a person in the tavern or the central area in the baths and then move to a more private area hidden away in one of the rooms.

  • Patrolling all areas, above and below.

  • Entering the threshold of a room but not entering completely.

  • Patrolling in the bath areas should be limited to the main central area, entering the big bath area beside the stairs and, looking around (for naked Lalas for example) and then stepping out. (Loner exceptions below.)

  • The individual bath rooms should only be entered far enough to ensure security can get visual confirmation that there are no illegal glams or other issues there.

  • Standing in a visible position, but not for long extended periods of time.

2.3. Hosting assistance

As with all roles within MogHeart or similar venues, security doesn't do purely security. Besides the pure security aspect, there is a twofold aspect of engaging with customers.

  • Checking up on patrons and staff who are acting out of the ordinary. An example of this is when a normally happy frog doesn't seem happy and instead just sits around all alone. There may be non-RP reasons for them behaving in such a way. Having a talk with them may cheer them up or divert their attention away from the issue.

  • The above also counts for groups of patrons who act erratic or may be new. They may be trolls or children or people there "for the lulz". Some FCs that are more on the casual side may visit a venue like this and record the experience for fun or to shame other players.

  • Loner exception. Mentioned above, these are individuals who may be shy about interacting with others. Security may attempt to match them with others by first having a bit of an RP-conversation with them and then helping them find someone. They may refer them to the bar upstairs where the bar team may help them out further or they may refer them to the host in the baths. This person may be called a bathkeeper, bath-dancer, or similar. The bathkeeper will focus on getting them matched up.

  • RP-storyline assistance. Some individuals may be alone but for RP reasons. They may be waiting for someone. These are generally a bit more serious RP players and conversing with them in-character is appreciated and may further whatever storyline they have going on.

2.4. Tips

There are many useful plugins available that help with security operations:

  • XIV Instant messenger: puts all whispers into neat little windows and saves them to files on your PC. Never miss a whisper again!

  • Snooper: Filter messages and make filtered chat windows to keep an eye on specific chats and people. For example, if a red-listed person enters, put a snooper on them to see if they cause any trouble.

  • Peeping Tom: See who is checking you out. Remember other people have this as well.

  • Doorbell: See who came in or left. Will spazz out if the venue is capped so pause it in its settings.

  • Player Track: Keep track of people, keep notes and categories.

General info to get you started

Unless stated otherwise in your contract:

  • Min bet: Up to you but allow new players to play for 0 to learn how it goes.

  • Honorific title should reflect your job.

  • Staff tag: looking to meld.

  • Max bet: 500k-1mil. 500k for beginner and poor gamba dealers and when there is only one professional roller in your party. These rollers will clean you out as they use strategies similar to card counting.

  • Max push: same as max bet unless allowed by Don Leo or you have no insurance so all the risk is on you.

  • Ruleset: soft 17 because it gives the venue the best win ratio.

  • SyncShell: you can make your own and pause Mog Shell for security.

  • PartyFinder: You may yell at management if the PF is not up.

  • Staff chat: You may join the in-game staff chat. Up to you.

  • Insurance notification: Let management know if you're losing too much in a direct tell to Don Leo in-game. If he doesn't respond, do it again until he does.

You can get a loan/play with Don's money if you're broke

But please let Don Leo know in advance because transferring millions live during an event is a massive pain.Added 2024-05-23: There is no interest. Please stop getting loans with interest from loansharks who think they're super duper cool and now you have to stress about making back the interest. MogHeart is not about increasing stress.

Don't solo against known pro rollers

They'll use charts to decide how to bet and will always bet most optimally.If they're in a mix with other players it's fine but if they're the only person there, focus on spamming yell chat to get more players and check if our PF is up and contains gamba.Added 2024-05-23: Reasons are as followed:

  • They use a chart with optimized bets. So they will win close to 50% of the time. The goal is to win their money back + get extra.

  • As soon as they get extra, they will likely quit as they're "up" now. Since it is close to 50% it becomes a swing, back and forth between up and down. So the longer you solo a single player, the less money you'll make as a host.

  • They are not there for RP. The matches will be very boring.

If you only have one player left, let Don Leo know about it. Don will either close, let you continue if you think you can handle it, or more likely find more players. Work with your manager!

High Losses

As mentioned above, if you lose a lot of gil, let Don Leo know. If you have a max bet of 500k you can fluctuate in your gil supply from -5mil to +5mil with around 2-4 players after a few games.1mil max bets tend to go into the 10s of millions, especially with natural blackjacks, the dealer busting, etc.Let us know when things are going south. Don Leo is considered the pit boss and he may slot himself into the session as a player or a host to keep an eye on things.

If you can't make it, let us know and try to find a replacement for yourself

I'm Don Leo, I'm writing all this. I just had an event where I had 2 gamba dealers and 2 backups. All 4 cancelled.Gamba dealers are the biggest issue I have when it comes to consistency. I'm trying to find a new Gamba dealer every week now and even the ones I train myself may not ever do the dealing.So if you can't make it, let us know and try to find a replacement yourself.At some point, I may request dealers pay the venue a fee or something so I can pay a short notice fill-in Gamba dealer.

Try to engage with patrons and maybe do RP

I had a Gamba dealer with few patrons, then that one stopped, the backup had no patrons at all, and stopped, then I stepped in, did a few spams had a full table, and made 20mil.Bartender analysis has shown that RP bartenders make about 10x more gil than non-RP bartenders. I have not analyzed Gamba Dealers because there are fewer of them and I can't easily get info on how much they make but from personal experience, this holds true.When I was a beginner dealer, I lost money. As I got better and more relaxed and able to do more than just dealing, I broke even and then consistently made profits with a bad run here and there but overall positive income.

Sugar

Sugar is used to introduce new players to the game or to let people on a losing streak play again. Don Leo or management may hand out sugar to players to nudge them towards the gamba table, to try it out or as an RP hook.Players who have a big losing streak will sometimes be given sugar so they can play again.

  • Players might hand you sugar.

  • Ensure that the sugar has Don Leo or Donna Leona as the name.

  • Ensure you don't already have sugar in your bag. The stack of sugar might merge with the old stack and the name might change to another name.

  • Sugar counts as 100k.

  • Sugar might not always be sugar. Don Leo will let you know if he hands out sugar.

  • One sugar pays for one round. Preferably do not let a person use more than one sugar at a time.

  • Losing streak people may use multiple sugars. Don Leo may give them 10.

  • Trade the sugar back to Don Leo at the end of your shift or whenever you have time. Don Leo will pay you back the 100k.

  • If Myotis Starcaller tells you to give a free round, let Don Leo know.

Form for gamba dealers

Events can get very hectic and I, Don Leo, have noticed that handling the Gamba dealer interaction after their session comes at an inopportune time. Too much stuff is going on and I sometimes lose messages.To circumvent this entirely, there is a form below that Gamba dealers can fill in after their session. It goes directly to me, Don Leo, and ensures no information is lost.There are two optional questions, your starting and your ending gil. Some gamba dealers use that to keep track of their income.The questions come as a result of the 90 mil issue where I was told the dealer made 90 mil while in reality the dealer meant they have 22 mil, started with 3 mil, got a 10 mil loan from me and thus made 9 mil and not 22 mil. But because they didn't report directly to me I had to dig it out of the minds of other people acting as middle-people. Then the middle-person told me they had made 90 mil, which was in voice chat and they pronounce 90 the same as 19. The middle-person didn't know that they had a 10 mil loan from me so the middle-person spent it all on advertising.Alright fuck that shit, just fill in the form thank you :3

We can post NSFW variants of posters on our hidden (NSFW) Discord channels but we cannot post them anywhere else. We have to follow the rules of various advertisers, laws and Discord itself so keep in mind the following:

  • No visible genitalia, nipples or similar.

  • No sexual poses. For example: a doggystyle pose where the genitalia are hidden. The doggystyle pose itself is a sexual pose and not allowed.

  • BDSM style pose should have no active activity visible. No whipping for example.

  • No Lalas.

Teasing, flirting, sensual styles are ok. A "come hither", inviting pose, is optimal.

General requirements and info

This is largely incorporated in the old image we used to use on the top of this page.

  • 1-3 models. One is fine.

  • Bathhouse attire unless it is a special event.

  • Preferably female-presenting models

  • Portrait aspect preferred as all our posters tend to be tall. Sometimes landscape but assume portrait unless stated otherwise.

  • Models preferably look into camera to break the 4th wall.

  • Straight angle, no excessive up or down angle for camera. Viewpoint is at eye level of model or only slightly above or below.

  • Preferably made inside Mogheart using a recognizable MogHeart feature such as tavern, bar, fireplace, baths.

  • Poses are fashion-model style. Could be posted in a fashion magazine for example.

  • Realistic poses. Ensure there are no anatomically odd or impossible poses. Err on the side of "This isn't a forced pose. It wouldn't require me to strain myself or to do this pose IRL for at least a minute."

  • Borders seen in most of our posters are not a requirement. They are made with our in-house templates for consistency but we don't require postermakers to follow this.

  • Preferably allow space for Myo to post DJ logos.

  • Date: Thursday <xth> of <Month> 19ST. Leave room for time gamba hour starts.

  • Location: Sagittarius, Goblet, W20, P35

  • Our audience has a lot of fashionista-type people and appreciate poses and design more than nightclub-oriented people.

Info for Gposers

For posters we generally require a "gpose". This is a screenshot of a model but with a few requirements depending on the way the poster is made.

Regular GPose

This can be any regular screenshot as they are posted by photographers. There is really no difference.A GPose like this limits the freedom of the postermaker.

Padded GPose or GPose with padding, headroom or similar

This is a GPose that leaves room on the sides, top and bottom so that the background of the image can be incorporated into the poster.

Keyed, Chromekeyed, Greenscreened, Bluescreened or cut out GPose

This is a GPose that ONLY shows the model.This allows for maximum freedom for the postermaker but requires using shaders or in-game lighting to ensure the model is evenly lit.

(The froge examples are ok but the metallic head reflects too much.)

Immediate info

  • Shots go into the Discord bathhouse photo channel. You may need to set your roles to see it. Other photo channels are for general postings of photos that may or may not be at MogHeart.

  • You can request your own channel. It'll likely be a threaded system though.

  • Depending on how you were hired and what for, you may have a contract.

  • Your contact In-Game is the Event Manager Don Leo unless otherwise stated.

  • Yellow spam ads must be coordinated with Don Leo, no more than once per 30 mins unless otherwise agreed.

Different types of photographers

MogHeart does not employ permanent photographers anymore. This may change in the futureMogHeart distinguishes between 3 types of photographers:

  1. Photographers or Studio Photographers - Take longer to make carefully crafted photographs.

  2. Venue or Event Photographers - Fast photographers who capture the atmosphere of the event.

  3. Gposers - Photographers who make poses for use in graphics design projects such as posters, for glamour contests, etc.

If you're one or more of these types and you want to offer your services at MogHeart, let us know about through our contact pages.Below is specific information for photographers who work at MogHeart.

1. Studio Photographers

You carefully craft your poses, often with more than one person in the shot, keeping in mind background, foreground, lighting, etc., while generally charging per photo where each photo will likely take more than 5 minutes, sometimes even hours.Studio photographers generally offer freelance services at MogHeart. Management must be informed in advance that you want to do this and will be there.As MogHeart doesn't currently maintain having photographers present at every event, MogHeart will either pay freelancers for one-off events or freelancers work at MogHeart and keep all tips yet take no salary. This may change in the future if MogHeart decides to bring back photographers every event.

Advertising

You may advertise your service in yell chat but we require you to coordinate with management first. This means DON LEO, not anybody else.

Other things to know

  • You will have a lot of freedom to do your thing. Mention to patrons what your prices are and that it may take a while.

  • Ensure the patron has had a chance to see your portfolio first. Whether they look at it or not is their problem. Try to avoid situations where a patron may decide they don't like your style after you've already taken the photo.

  • Don't push. If patrons leave because you're pushy, that means the venue suffers.

  • Pricing: Mention prices first. If you take tips, expect some to pay 5k because they're poor or don't know any better. Maybe work with price suggestions "200k per photo, can tip more if you like it." Keep in mind many RP players don't play the actual game anymore and don't have an income.

Portfolio

If your portfolio lives on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, then many people will be unable to access them as these are account-walled websites owned by questionable individuals.Please have some alternative way to show your work, either by old shots on our Discord, Imgur, your website, a carrd site, etc.If you wish, we can host a page on this site with a gallery.

2. Venue/Event Photographers

You shoot fast and fill a channel with event shots. You capture the atmosphere of the event and generally have a shot list ready. You have a database of pre-made poses. You capture photos autonomously but can do a bespoke shot on request.

Contract

Since you will likely have a shot-list and will be working for the venue directly, not just on commission by patrons, you may have a contract. All contracts are personalised. See Don Leo for this.

Advertising

You may advertise your service in yell chat but we require you to coordinate with management first. This means DON LEO, not anybody else.

Shot list

These are a list of shots venue management expects to see during your shooting. This is a guidance. Some events may have a different shot list. We will let you know.The goal is to capture the atmosphere and activities we offer.You can combine multiple shots into one. For example, a group shot of owner, manager, and some bar staff outside would be 3-4 different shots as one.

  1. External - Any photo that has the outside of the building in the shot, far or close doesn't matter. Building is in background. Best taken during the 19ST outside party. Ignore if you start later than this.

  2. DJ/Dance/Clubshot - Just any shot of people enjoying the music.

  3. Bath Shots - Atmospheric shot(s) downstairs, try to show off backgrounds as well as patrons.

  4. Owner - Catch Myotis Starcaller somewhere interacting with patrons.

  5. Event Manager - Catch Don Leo or his interims Donna Leona or other Donsomething Leosomethings doing whatever.

  6. Greeter - A shot of greeter solo or seemingly with newcomers. Often greeting is done by manager or owner so may ignore.

  7. Bar Staff - Preferably upstairs tavern shot but downstairs after 23ST is also fine. If bartender does the wine /handover or a /wringhands shaker, that looks nice.

  8. ShellGuards - They protect the syncshell. Optional.

  9. Security - Optional.

  10. Other staff - Optional.

3. GPosers

You craft poses for use in posters and other media.You'll be given a different infopage as all the above is entirely irrelevant to you.Apologies if you've read all that :D

MogHeart does NOT have courtesan services

We do not offer a courtesan service and never will.MogHeart is a tavern and bathhouse. Patrons looking for a special connection may do so amongst themselves. MogHeart may assist in this in various ways through a matchmaking service.While we don't have a courtesan service, we MAY hire courtesans for similar services. Read more on that below.MogHeart prides itself for being a place where individuals may find other like-minded people for an immersive experience.MogHeart does not want to present itself as being a place where one goes to simply buy a courtesan experience. We are not a brothel and never will be.With that said, we understand that these types of services exist. Glossary: Types of courtesans

Use the information below to determine what type of courtesan you are.

  • FREELANCE COURTESANS - This type of courtesan is not tied to a venue. They may have deals with some but they are generally fully independent. Some have their own site or discord. They may also offer other services such as gamba hosting, bartending etc. See the prohibited actions, allowed actions and bazaar information.

  • REGULAR COURTESANS - These courtesans look for venues to work for. They may work for multiple venues. They do not have an exclusivity contract. They may offer multiple services. They can be considered semi-freelance sometimes. See the Prohibited and allowed actions.

  • EXCLUSIVE COURTESANS - These courtesans work for one specific venue or team that manages them. They may offer other services but may still be mainly or exclusively tied to that venue. Pay careful attention to the prohibited actions.

PROHIBITED ACTIONS: What external courtesans may not do at MogHeart.

The following are actions and behaviours that are prohibited at MogHeart. Do note that courtesans may offer their services on Mog Bazaar. More on that below.

  1. No soliciting on any MogHeart related territories. This includes MogHeart itself, the garden, the public space around the Mog-related plots, the MogHeart Discord(see below, Bazaar), any MogHeart-related places we forgot. Sanction: warnings or worse. Accidents happen, you may have not known. Don't do it again.

  2. No pseudo-soliciting like in rule #1 where a courtesan flirts with a person for a period of time, then hits them with a "I don't work today but you can book me at this other venue on this other day." Sanction: warnings, informing other venues of your actions with full context proof. Orange-listed. Ban on any other infraction.

  3. No excessive mentioning of your courtesan work with the obvious goal of soliciting. Please do not try to find the limits on this.

ALLOWED ACTIONS: What external courtesans may do at MogHeart.

So long as a courtesan does not do any of the prohibited actions, there will not be any issue. To prevent some questions being frequently asked in-game, we mention some examples here of actions that are allowed by default. This is not an exhaustive list.

  • Taking a client to MogHeart. You may take your clients to our territories and have an immersive experience. Paying clients must have been found anywhere else. You and your client are considered to be a patron. Don't even need to mention that you have a session going on. The integrity of the MogHeart-No-Courtesan-Services rule is maintained this way.

  • Coming to MogHeart while not "on the job".

  • Coming to MogHeart as a known courtesan without the intention to solicit.

  • Asking staff or management for courtesan jobs.

Direct hiring of courtesans by MogHeart

MogHeart may hire courtesans directly. This is usually done for a scripted show or event. The courtesan works directly for MogHeart and does not take paying clients from our patrons.If you are a courtesan willing to offer a show or similar services, let us know on the contact page.

Limited mode activated!

What is limited mode?

Limited mode is when the whole venue has to lower their mare loads to accommodate the sheer volume of people in our venue.It is activated rarely but when it is, it is done for good reason!

So what do I do now?

No running whatsoever!

The venue is likely capped or close to capped. That means the limit for the amount of people inside a venue or zone is almost reached. It also means that many people are unloaded from your view. If you run, you suddenly load and unload a lot of people and you might crash.Similarly, your running may cause them to load and unload several people as well. Walking causes this but the shock is much lower. So walk!

Don't switch outfits!

One swap is still ok, more than one is bad. Go outside if you are looking for a specific outfit.

How do I lower my load?

If you've been asked directly to lower your load, try doing so. You're aiming for a load below 800MiB. Lower is better. A bikini outfit should not take hundreds of megabytes.

  • Turn off all custom combat skill effects! They are loaded even if you don't use them.

  • Switch your clothing to something else, or take it off ;3 But don't switch outfits too often! Go outside to do this.

  • Use BC7 compression in Mare or Penumbra. The way to do this is explained in the above link. It's a bit more involved and you should set aside some calm time to look into this.

Section for people who take issue with this.

From our guesstimate statistics, about 1 out of 300 people have an issue with this. That is, if math is right, about 0.3% of all patrons.This is a tiny amount but when we do hit a person who resists, the back and forth explaining takes a lot of time that we don't have and since it is always the same, I put this section here to save time, enjoy ;3

I don't care, now what?

You'll be removed from the shell. You may rejoin when limited mode is cancelled.Do keep in mind that some mods are meant for gposes only and are not meant to be used in a venue.We don't ban a person from our shell for being too big but we kick them temporarily. The stability of the shell benefits all patrons. We won't risk the stability of the shell for one sole person.

Why don't they get better RAM? Just buy more!

You are free to donate RAM to our patrons. Let us know on the contact page. If you have 2 GB worth of load, and everyone else had this amount, then the 100 mares we had one day would have required 200GB worth of RAM. But a donation of 128GB to each patron is already very generous and we thank you dearly.
